Inmates at a Maryland prison reflect on their educational progress Heading into the holiday season often leads people to take stock of where they are in life.And that’s the case for several students in the Bowie State University degree program at Maryland’s Jessup Correctional Institution.WTOP first met some of the members of the class in August, and caught up with them as they got ready to share a Thanksgiving meal and focus on midterms.The men have adapted to the student life — and it shows.Jermain Williams talks about his progress in the four-year degree program offered by Bowie State University. US 287 closed from Ted's Place to Wyoming after multiple crashes DENVER (KDVR) — As Thanksgiving Day wound down, a snowstorm began to move into Colorado. And it didn't take long for the weather to affect the roads.Northern Colorado, including Boulder and Fort Collins, are under a winter storm warning, with the area expected to get 5-12 inches of snow. The warning went into effect Thursday afternoon and is expected to stay in effect until 5 a.m. Saturday. Worcester police investigate suspicious death at massage business An investigation got underway in Worcester Thursday after what appeared to be a suspicious death at a massage business on Pleasant Street, police said. Officers could be seen blocking the entrance to Angies Bodywork Spa at 383 Pleasant Street early Thursday afternoon. In a later update, the Worcester Police Department said officers first responded around 11:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a female “experiencing a possible medical issue.”Police said a male individual soon flagged down arriving officers and brought them to an unconscious female. Officers rendered medical aid, according to police, until the unconscious female was pronounced dead.“The death appears to be suspicious,” police said.Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.Police remained on scene around 6 p.m., with Angies Bodywork Spa still taped off. No further information was immediately available. This is a developing story; stay with 7NEWS on-air and online ...
